Raised in Taipei, Taiwan, Brian Kao is a landscape photographer whose work is deeply rooted in exploration. His expertise in Earth sciences leads him to remote, untamed environments with a unique lens. Guided by his philosophy Incertus animus dimidium sapientiae est (an uncertain mind is half of wisdom), Brian has spent fourteen years blending photography with hiking and cycling to document the quiet, unnoticed wonders of the world. He is currently based in Uppsala, Sweden.
